Westward Stout Cask is a luxurious American single malt whiskey hailing from Portland, Oregon, that pays tribute to the area's thriving brewing history. The process starts with Westward's original single malt, carefully crafted from 100% malted barley and matured in new American oak barrels. To add a unique touch, it is then aged for an extra year in casks that once housed stout beer from esteemed local breweries like Breakside Brewing, Deschutes Brewery, and Fort George Brewery.

Appearance
Westward Stout Cask is deep, dark brown to black color with a tan or light brown head. It often has a creamy, smooth texture due to its cask aging process.
